Series Designed to Boost Small Business and Start up Productivity at the Jersey Shore this Summer.
Asbury Park, NJ. COWERKS, Asbury Park’s shared workspace and tech hub, is hosting a 5-week seminar on inbound marketing in hopes of helping local small businesses and startups maximize their marketing efforts and revenue during the upcoming summer season. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings starting May 26th, from 7-9pm at Cowerks, located on the 3rd floor of the Lakehouse Building at 619 Lake Ave.
“Customers are relying more and more on mobile devices to not only shop, but to discover local businesses. It’s no longer a matter of ‘how should I’ but ‘how effectively am I’ marketing my business online’ comments Cowerks co-founder Bret Morgan.
85% of people search for local businesses online, making the need for a strong digital presence and knowledge of how to manage it essential to any business. Additionally, Google recently updated their search algorithm to give precedence to businesses who have a strong mobile presence.
Instructors Mike Forgie (Next Step Connect) and Jon Christian (Marketing Genome) are marketing experts based locally in Asbury Park and, as such, know first hand the quantifiable results of boosting a small business’s online presence, particularly during the summer months when thousands of visitors flock to our area.
Classes will cover all aspects of successful inbound marketing including goal setting, landing pages, website traffic, and social media.
Registration is $40 per class or $149 for the entire 5-week series. The first class “Inbound Marketing 101: How to Set Your SMART Goals” on May 26th is FREE. Pre-registration is required for all sessions and can be completed at http://cowerks.eventbrite.com.
