Now Hiring – Community & Office Managers

Position: Community Manager, Part Time (24-30 hours/week)

With two locations in downtown Asbury Park and a community of over 2500 local professionals, Cowerks is the #1 resource in the region for entrepreneurs, startups, tech enthusiasts, and business leaders who desire to network, learn, and grow their businesses.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Open and close the 619 Lake Ave space each weekday
  • Manage day to day operations and administration for both spaces
  • Onboard new members and help them connect to the wifi, printer, etc
  • Give tours to new prospective members, private office tenants, and people interested in private events
  • Facilitate communication and foster community between members across both locations
  • Manage the internal calendar and marketing of workshops, meetups, and other events held weekly and monthly at the space
  • Set up and break down meetups, classes, and private parties & events
  • Coordinate with outside vendors such as cleaning services, office suppliers, etc to ensure smooth operations of the space
  • Manage social media accounts and aid in content creation
  • Manage digital campaigns to increase memberships and event attendance and aid in content creation

  • Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to assist our members with their needs
  • Be a team player who loves working in a challenging, yet fun environment
  • Be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Be a self starter who can operate with minimal direction from management
  • Be an excellent communicator who understands the importance of responding to email, chat, and other communication tools in a timely manner
  • Be interested in and have an understanding of technology, startups, entrepreneurship and the communities that surround them
  • Be available Mon-Fri between 8AM and 6PM and occasionally nights and weekends
    Understand and embrace social media including Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Meetup, and Twitter
  • Be familiar with and willing to embrace tools such as WordPress, Slack, Trello, Google Docs/G-Suite, Dropbox, and more
  • You are a strong writer and can create press releases, blog & digital magazine content, and member emails in a professional and timely manner
  • You thrive working in a fast paced startup environment

Bonus Qualities and Skills:

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager platform
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, and Google Advertising and Remarketing
  • Experience with public relations and marketing
  • Experience with photography, video, and digital content production
  • Experience with basic web and graphic design or developmentAny other marketing related skills
